Fact #1
Setting up a full ecommerce website takes time, knowledge
and/or money.
Fact #2
There is really no such thing as a "Free Lunch" but there
are "Discount Buffets".
If you are good with computers, can read
and follow instructions, and are willing to devote a
considerable amount of time, you can build an effective
website.
If you have problems in the above areas, you have 2 choices.
-
Devote even more time to learning.
-
Be prepared to pay to have your site
done.
If you choose the last option you will
need to find a designer and we come in all flavors.
You will find choices that run from "cookie cutter" designs
to companies that will try to wow you with "babblespeak".
To most designers, it is sell you their product and move on,
as they do not have a vested interest to make sure the
layout works, search engines list your site well, and
customers can easily navigate your site.
Our outlook is different.
We will partner with you and put the majority of our time on
the line against commissions on sales from your site.
Based on a 3 year agreement we will reduce
our hourly rate from $65.00/$95.00 to $20.00 with an
agreement to share a percentage of the sales, excluding
reasonable shipping..
Initial
design fees* can be spread over a period of time.
We will design - market - and support your site as well as
training you to do the same.
We will monitor your site's metrics, and use these
as a base to fine tune your visitor's experience.
We will provide:
-
A Front Page static html website
based on your current site or your outline, optimized
for top search engine penetration.
-
Along with this we integrate the
CRELoaded PHP/MySQL system which provides CRM, Sales,
and Store Admin.
-
Once the site is live, we register it
with the major search engines and link wherever
possible.
-
We also work to promote your custom
associate sales plan.
-
When live, and with your
co-operation, we monitor all the email to and from the
site, usually responding within minutes of a query.
-
We work with you in text chats in MSN
Messenger or Yahoo to develop the site and your ordering
routines.
You will provide:
-
Product images, descriptions, and
prices.
-
Text describing your product/services
uses.
-
Text describing your business,
policies, and outlook for an "About Us" page.
-
Links to relevant sites.
-
Domain Name
-
You will host your site using our
services.
-
You will be responsible for any 3rd
part service costs. E.G.: Credit Card collection
fees/setups. Autoresponder services.
-
Active participation in marketing the
website. E.G. Participating in community forums and news
groups, hard copy marketing, and using your email.

*To
design, setup, populate, and do the initial marketing for an
ecommerce website averages around 100 hours, less if the
job is a site conversion or more if the complexity dictates
it.
I am willing to put $4500 (or more) of my time on the line,
to build your business anticipating more than $30,000
in sales in the first 3 year term of the contract. |
